Recently an anonymous Substack was published that made a number of false and misleading claims about Delve and we publicly refuted the allegations.

Delve does not fake evidence nor do we sign audit reports or certifications. Our platform helps customers collect and organize evidence and prepare for audits using structured workflows and templates aligned to industry standards.

Next, independent, licensed audit firms, not Delve, collect that evidence and issue SOC 2 reports, ISO 27001 certifications, and similar attestations in accordance with their applicable professional standards.

We stand by the work we perform to support our customers. Their trust in Delve is paramount and we want to make sure we are doing all we can to continue to earn it. We know customers may have received additional questions from their customers or procurement teams so we are adding new measures to best support.

New Customer Support Measures

Effective immediately, we are providing the following enhancements at no cost to our customers.

  • Complimentary re-audit: If customers would like, we will connect them directly via Slack or email to an independent, peer-reviewed, AICPA-accredited SOC 2 auditor to conduct a re-audit at no cost to them.
  • Complimentary penetration test: We will connect customers to an independently certified security auditor to conduct a professional grey-box web application and network penetration test at no cost to them.
  • Engagement letters from auditors: Customers can request a formal engagement letter from independent auditors to share with their customers or prospects at no cost to them.

Increased Transparency in the Delve Platform

We are also evolving the way we operate to provide greater transparency into every step of the audit process.

  • Direct auditor communications in Slack and email: Delve and auditor communications will now occur directly in customers’ respective Slack channels or in a shared email thread for full transparency.
  • Clearer template disclosures: Relevant templates, forms, and modules will explicitly indicate their role as guidance aligned to industry best practices by end of week.
  • Controls and audit visibility: As always, customers can review compliance evidence, JSON logs for all integration tests, and view their control set directly within the Delve platform’s Controls tab.

If customers receive questions from their customers or procurement teams, our team is here to support.
